Join us as we bring our down-home, Southern-fried, good time to NYC.  Get ready to enjoy all those pleasures that true Southerners live by - Beer, Bourbon, Barbeque, Bacon, and Bluegrass! It's a great day of beer sippin', bourbon tastin', music listenin', cigar smokin', and barbeque eatin'. Your admission buys you a sampling glass so you can enjoy an ALL-YOU-CARE –TO-TASTE sampling of beer and bourbon.

What You Can Expect...

Both Sessions Enjoy The Following:
  • Reduced Tickets. We’ve actually reduced the amount of tickets that we are selling in order to keep lines to a minimum and fun to a maximum. 
  • Souvenir Glass For Tastings. 
  • Food Tastings from our own pitmasters / chefs as well as some of NYC’s finest BBQ and southern cuisine restaurants.  
  • Each session will feature a minimum of 10+ different food tasting stations including, but not limited to:
              o Pulled Pork BBQ – Pulled Directly From The HOG
              o BBQ Ribs
              o Brisket
              o Collard Greens
              o Baked Beans 
  • In addition, to these tastings, guests are invited to purchase more of their BBQ favorites – pulled pork, ribs, briskets and any fixin’ you could imagine.  We’ll keep the portions heavy and the prices low. 
  • Enjoy Seminars in the Tasting Theater with Master Distillers, Brewmasters, and Pit Masters From the Deep South.  
  • Listen To Live Bluegrass on The Main Stage from The Third Wheel Band and Great Dog Almighty! 
  • Browse brewerania, Hot sauces, and bbq accessories. 
  • Enjoy Made In The USA Moonshine Tasting Extravaganza. Learn from NYC’s top Mixologists as they work with all your favorite White Whiskey’s. OOOOOOOwwwee! These fine libations would make Uncle Jed quite proud!

SESSION ONE: The Bacon Bash Tasting Session:
In addition to the all of the features above, if you are a lover of the pork belly....join us for SESSION ONE.  This session will feature an additional 10+ Tasting Stations featuring gourmet bacons from all over the country and local NYC restaurants serving up their favorite Bacon & Southern Dishes - RESTAURANTS WE'VE GOT SIGNED UP SO FAR INCLUDE:

As the show date nears we will list our other restaurant participants and their dishes. There will be a bacon eating contest during this session, if you can handle the SMOKE!
 
SESSION TWO:  The Whole Hog Pig Pickin’ Session:
If you can’t get enough pulled pork…join us for the second session. SESSION TWO will feature the tasting tables outlined above.  In addition, guests will receive an additional  dinner  plate of pulled pork dinner plates with two sides or fixin’s.

 In addition, the second session will feature a total of 4 WHOLE HOGS served off the bone from different areas of the show.
 
GRAND POOBAH SESSION

This is a limited tasting offer for ONLY 40 individuals. (sorry that we can’t do more – we don’t have any more of this rare, precious bourbon)  These lucky guests will enjoy admission into both sessions during the day, along with admission to a special tasting soiree from 4:00pm – 5:30pm.  This session will feature passed Southern hors d’oeuvres, select bourbon barrel aged beers,  and some fun cocktails in a special souvenir jar.  Poobahs will enjoy a hefty flight of the following bourbons:

SESSION 2:   THE WHOLE HOG SESSION:   5:30PM – 9:30PM
ADVANCE TICKETS ARE CLOSED.   LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR. Valid from 5:30pm – 9:30pm. Includes admission into the event, a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited samplings of beer and bourbon, food tastings outlined above and a pulled pork bbq dinner plate with fixin’s.

All Drink Items on the Drink Menu are subject to change and some brands and styles of beer and / or bourbon run out before others.  Your ticket does not guarantee that you will taste any certain product on the list. The earlier you are at the show, the better chance you have of tasting every different product. Advanced Ticket Sales will close at 5pm  on the Wednesday before the event or 1/23/13 or when sold out. Advance tickets will NOT be sent to your mailing address, your name will be placed on the Will Call list. Tickets are subject to taxes and fees. You can gain entry by presenting a valid ID (Driver's License or Other Government Issued form of I.D. that verifies legal drinking age of 21). All ticket sales are final. No Refunds and No Exchanges. Ticket price does not include the guarantee of an autograph. Show is rain or shine. Chairs and blankets welcome! Please not pets. Management reserves the right to check all bags. No outside glassware or alcohol allowed. All alcoholic drinks must be sampled from tasting glass/cup provided.
