The Kickin Grass Band takes the stage, and suddenly you’re captivated by pure, strong voices telling true‐to‐life stories spiced with innovative bluegrass instrumentation. You fall in love with the rootsy, Americana style, and can’t wait for more. Fortunately, their third release, simply titled The Kickin Grass Band, displays all the chops, emotion and effusive energy of the band’s live show.

Cary BBQ Classic 2011 Awards Ceremony
Join us for the 2nd Annual Cary BBQ Classic! Winners will be announced around 2:30 on the main stage. Register today for the chance to compete for Grand Champion of the Cary BBQ Classic 2011. You don't want to miss out on this chance to show off your BBQ skills in each of the different categories. Check out the Official Cary BBQ Classic Rules & Regulations 2011 as well as the Cary BBQ Classic Application to register for this awesome competition. Each team MUST submit this application in order to be considered for the Cary BBQ Classic at the Beer, Bourbon, & BBQ Festival in Cary, NC on August 5th and 6th. Applications must be submitted before Friday July 22, 2011 and only the first 20 approved teams will be allowed to participate.

The Miss BBQ Babe Contest
 
Enjoy All the Daisy Duke-Wannabes being judged on their appearance, costume and knowledge of beer, barbeque, moonshine and redneck history – all in an effort to win the Ms. Bar-B-Q-Babe title! Winner will be awards $100 cash and an official Beer, Bourbon, & BBQ Festival Mug!
 
 
Official Rules
1. No contest entry fee applies. However, you must pay admission at the gate to enter the Festival.
2. All entries must be 21 years of age or older.
3. Entrants must be properly costumed as a Daisy Duke-ish hillbilly girl.
3. All prizes will be received on-site after the contest.
5. All contestants must sign waiver and release.
6. Sign Up for the Contest at the Show Entrance on Event Day.

The Triangle’s Best Beer Belly Contest
 
Fellas, do you think your gut has what it takes to win this glorious recognition? If so, then come on and compete in the Triangle’s Best Beer Belly contest. Candidates will be judged on size and personality by the audience. The winner will be hailed as owner of The Triangle’s Best Beer Belly for 2011 on the event website and receive an honorary beer mug trophy at the event in order to begin training for next year’s contest. May the best belly win!

Part-Time Blues Band
 
Part-Time Blues Band is the second to none in the Blues and Blues/Rock field of music. Don't be fooled by their down-to-earth and somewhat laid-back appearance-their musical delievery is the most dynamic and energetic in the
Carolina area. Vintage and contemporary blues dominates the PART-TIME BLUES BAND'S song list, covering artists such as B.B. King, Willie Dixon, Freddie King, Muddy Waters, and Albert King. Rounding out the Blues/Rock category are cover tunes by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton.
